Little Chief

We built this Herreshoff Columbia tender as a fancy row boat and a surprise birthday present.
Her back bone and transom are mahogany, and her planking is red cedar with a mahogany sheer strake.
The thwarts are book matched sapelle, and she is copper riveted through steamed oak frames with clench nails in the laps.
She was a joy to build!
