Sail and Oar weekend at the Pocket Yacht Palooza

Here's a preview of what James McMullen experienced and saw in Port Townsend for the Pocket Yacht Palooza.  Below is a link to his post on the Wooden Boat Forum.  It is best to read his first hand account.

Hello, nice post.A small boat is a sailboat short of what 20 feet and has either a mainsail or a blend of a mainsail and a front sail called a jib. These boats are moderately reasonable and are a most loved of youth sailing programs, college racing teams and the Olympics.Sailing a small boat is both fun and challenging. One must adjust and movement the crew's weight with each turn, once in a while needing to hike out over the water to keep the boat from capsizing. In high winds a lot of people small boats can accomplish high speeds by planing or climbing on top of the water. It has been said that the skill of the sailor is contrarily identified with the span of the sailboat.Good day.
